Here’s the last art piece from this past semester’s construction and fabrication class. It is a wooden cube with thin layers inside. It’s 13″ x 13″ with mirrors, lights, and a hanging disco ball in the center (see other views someday soon).

This is another art project from this past semester’s construction and fabrication class. It had to be a container made out of metal. I welded a frame from the bottom to the top pan (not shown). The middle two pans hang from wire. It is about 2′ x 1.5′. Some marbles go through and some stay in each bowl.
I added my first art project from this semester’s construction and fabrication class. This is about 3′ x 2.5′ wrapped in fabric (thanks to Jenny’s help) with padding. There is a laptop behind it shining through. When you press the buttons on the right, it fills in the shapes and make sounds.
I’m going to school, like usual, just a couple classes. I have an Environmental Science class called Insects and Globalization. I find it to be an interesting and important class, thanks to the facts/stories from my professor and the lab which includes playing with bugs.
The other class is a 3-D art class called Construction and Fabrication. There are 3 projects for the whole semester without many restrictions. One is fiber/material, having to do with one of the senses. Two is wood, having to do with movement. Three is metal, and it must be a container. I’ll take a picture of my first one (fiber) after I finish it (next week or so).
