We always have a great time in NY… can’t you tell? There was no karaoke this time though, shame.
Here are some photos from our time in Chicago where we saw the green river and the bean or “Cloud Gate“
My art section is now updated and organized with more of a gallery type feel. This also means that I wrapped up school with a BFA, finally. What’s next? more school probably, or maybe I’ll just cheese off for awhile… we’ll see. I’m moving into a new building for work in a couple of weeks which is exciting because we’ve been in the same old auditorium for over 10 years and it’s currently tight on space. I am going to put some effort into the HDR photography realm this summer along with the usual web work… who knows what else… so check back again.
We went to the Detroit Institute of Art today. These are African temple poles.
These are the main two student gallery rooms at Kresge Art Museum. One of them has some good photos from PIEA for a few more days.
I had a drawing class this semester and was able to finish 5 magazine collages for the final project. It’s funny because there is hardly any drawing in these, but I’m okay with that because the first half of the semester was drawing a model with redundant poses and still life behind her. I will post a few of those drawings soon. This semester is done and I graduate next!
